THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSON THAT I CAN RETAIN IN MY MEMORY AND THE IMPORTANCE OF IT

  Assalamualaikum w.r.t.

The English language lesson that i can retain in my memory is the part of the speech which are nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verb, adverb, conjunction, preposition, articles and determiners. Before this, I have been confuse of using the correct preposition especially "in", "on", "for", "about" and "by". I also have a problem of using the right adjectives in making sentence especially the comparative form and the superlative form. After I learnt those in class, I have much confident to use it without making a mistake.
Other than that, I have learnt a proper use of tenses like simple present tense, simple past tense, present continuous tense, past continuous tense, present perfect tense and past perfect tense. By learning those tenses in class, I begin to know what must I use in constructing a sentence. The important thing that must I remember is the subject-verb agreement rules where singular must added (s, es, ies) in verb and plural must use base verb. For example, "goes" and "go". Besides, there are reading comprehension lesson that need me to read and understand the articles by answering the question that been given. Whenever I do the exercises, I never not to open the dictionary when I get stuck on the unfamiliar words. The lecturer gives a hint that I need to read a sentence before it to grasp the meaning of that particular word.
The importance of the English language lesson is it help me to correct the grammar mistakes that I been doing since school. It also help me to improve my English vocabulary and develop my writing skill in English language. Finally, it definitely help me to score marks in both reading and essay during test and examination.
